Scotland 2024
Wow what an incredible week. In May 2024 we travelled to Scotland and stayed on the edge of Loch Lubnaig at the foot of Ben Lendi mountain.
The above is a lovely Coo, called Honey. She was very happy to have her photo taken and was incredibly gently.

Throughout the week we travelled miles around the Trossach Trails exploring various lochs, such as Loch Katrine, Loch Lomond & Loch Achary. We climbed Ben Lendi Mountain This nearly finished me off, Only I could fall in the river crossing nearly breaking myself and my camera kit. 🫣 Luckily we both survived! And I was able to carry on taking photo’s for the rest of the week.
We also scaled Benni Dubh Hill path, Which over looks Loch Lomond and the higher we climbed the more of the islands on the loch, became visible.
Bracklinn Falls, was a steep climb through the gorge and past the falls, on what was a very warm day. Most people seemed to hang around the tourist viewing point, missing the larger part of the falls a couple of miles away.
We drove for a couple of hours over the old Military road to reach Balmoral Castle and see the stunning sights of the river Dee. The grounds that the castle sits in and the surrounding area are amazing, I can see why the Royal family enjoying spending so much time there, it’s any area in which I will definitely being visiting again.
Everywhere we looked the views were truly stunning and breathtaking, even on the dull over cast days.
